UMANG - Ganesh Festival Contest
We at EventGlint-UMANG always try to bring possible options to bring some fun & Joy for children and people of all ages through our event listing and contest platform (EventGlint/LeadGint). Mainly this year when the lockdown has restricted all of us to our homes, we decided to use our online reach to expand the world for them by involving kids and parents all over the Globe.
It is the favourite time of the year once again! It is time to welcome Lord Ganesh to our homes. ‘Ganesh’ or ‘Vinayaka Chaturthi’ is dedicated to Lord Ganesh (son of Shiva), Ganasha is a God of wisdom, knowledge and prosperity. The festival is marked with the installation of Ganesha idols privately in homes, or publicly on elaborate Pandals.
In India, Ganesh Chaturthi is primarily celebrated at home and in public by local community groups in the central and western states of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Goa and the southern states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and eastern states of West Bengal and Odisha.
UMANG - Ganesh Festival Contest is an online global art competition and have following categories:
- Ganesh idol making
- Ganesh Artwork
- Ganesh decoration at Home
- Ganesh decoration at Mandal/Office
- Selfie with Ganesh in ethnic wear
There will be 2 age groups i.e. below 18 years and above 18 years. You just have to take the photo of your artwork or can upload a youtube link to submit your entries on portal.

Results:
On 18th September 2020
- Results will be shown on event pages "https://www.eventglint.com/umang"
- Winners will be notified via valid email ID's
- Top 3 winners will be getting Winning certificates
- All participants will get Certificate of Participation
- People of all age groups can participate in these series of contest.
- Age group for all categories would be Below 18 years and Above 18 years.
The winners will be notified by email using the email address that you provided at the time of registration. For minor/children’s their parents or guardians can register for them. In case of incorrect email address, we will not be able to contact you and thus the participant will not know that they have won the prize.
