Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip garden, previously Model Floriculture Center, is a tulip garden in Srinagar, India. It is the largest tulip garden in Asia spread vastly over an area of about 30 hectares. It is situated on the foothills of Zabarwan Range with an overview of Dal Lake. Post this, we head to a few local gardens in Srinagar namely Nishat Bagh (the garden of pleasure) Shalimar garden (abode of love) & Chashmashahi (The royal spring). Come back to houseboat for dinner and relax in your luxurious abode. Day 2: Sunday , 7th April, 2019 Srinagar – Gulmarg (58 Kms One Way) ( 2 Hours Drive) Gulmarg is the popular destination where most of the bollywood movies are shot including Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. It's snow capped peaks and pine alps will surely mersmerise you. Gulmarg is also known as “Meadow Of Flowers “ & has a famous Golf course during summer (which is one if the highest 18-holes golf course in the world) & Ski Resort during winter. Have dinner and play fun games. Sleep tight. Day 3: Monday , 8th April, 2019 Gulmarg - Pahalgam (154 Kms One Way) ( 4 Hours Drive) Wake up! Get ready and have your breakfast as we are ready to leave for Pahalgam. Known as the village of sepherds, Pahalgam is worth visiting for the world famous Saffron growing fields , Awantipura ruins (9th century ) & Martand Temple (sun temple). It is also base camp for Amarnath pilgrimage. Day 4: Tuesday , 9th April, 2019 Full Day Pahalgam Wake up to this scintillating view. Pahalgam today is for your free time and relaxation. Enjoy the beauty of Pahalgam as you can go to chandanwari (16 Kms ) is starting point of Amarnath Pilgrimage “ THE Abode of Shiva” , Aru ( 10 Kms from pahalgam ) as it has fine meadows of picturesque scenery & starting point of trekking of (Liddarwat , Kolahoi Glacier, Tarsar Lake).Dinner & overnight at hotel. Day 05: Wednesday m 10th April, 2019 Pahalgam -Srinagar House boat Today say bye-bye to this beautiful destination and leave for Srinagar. On reaching Srinagar, you have free time to go for a Shikara Ride or explore the remaining places in Srinagar if not completed on day 1. Dinner and over night at hotel in Srinagar.
