In addition to preventing dryness, it doubles as a detangler. No more frizzies with this wonderful product! Hair Mask~ Weekly regime to make hair soft,strong and shiny. In addition, this class will cover: Properties of plant oils and butters and how they clean and moisturize the hair. Why we need surfactants and which ones are the most natural. Amphoteric, anionic, cationic and nonionic ingredients and how they relate to haircare. How to create and use herbal infusions, tinctures and decoctions. How to choose and incorporate plant-based essential oils into your haircare products. How to formulate for different types of hair. What the difference is between synthetic, natural & naturally-derived ingredients. Effective natural preservatives. You'll leave with samples of all the products made in class.
