Overview

We at UMANG GLOBAL always try to bring possible options to bring some fun, Joy, learning and collaboration options for children and people of all ages in the field of Art.


UMANG GLOBAL Season - 2.0 is a social event/contest Supported, Presented and Hosted by various known organizations and groups; always for a good cause. During last event/contest we had donated funds to PM/CM Relief Funds and this time we are raising funds for Covid-19 affected families in India and helping them through Rotary Club of Khadki and Tulip Foundation. Also we are committed to help VMM for their upcoming book in the field of music, Mr.Virag Wankhade is the founder of VMM and is an engineering graduate from Amravati University, Topper in Civil branch. He has created 5 Guinness World Records in the Field of Music for our Nation. All the records are created for some burning social causes.


This is a very unique event/contest where everything happens online i.e. From participation to images/media upload to Judging and acknowledgement to participants and all the stakeholders. Last year, we had over 45+ Judges across the globe and the assessment/marking/results process was very easy/flawless due to use of www.leadglint.com, which also offer contest management tools.


This year also UMANG GLOBAL Season - 2.0 will be listed on www.eventglint.com for participants to register themselves and www.leadglint.com will be used for accessing participants and entries.


Again this year when the lockdown has restricted all of us to our homes, we decided to use our online reach to expand the world for Art lovers by involving kids and parents all over the Globe.

UMANG GLOBAL SEASON 2.0 - HOPE

As the world is still struggling with the corona virus, economic disruption; Having hope will surely reduces feelings of helplessness, increases happiness, reduces stress, and improves our quality of life. So the theme that we have decided for this year is HOPE. Any art form around 5 categories will be acceptable for this contest.

Categories

THEME, PERFORMANCE, DURATION, MEDIA, AGE GROUP AND JUDGING CRITERIA

UMANG GLOBAL is our online event name and the theme i.e. HOPE. So the competition / participation should revolve around the theme e.g. Hope, Joy, Joyfulness, Freshness, Positivity.


Age Group

Upto 14 Years, 15-25 Years, 26-49 Years, 50+ Years

DRAWING

  • Entry must be based on theme HOPE/UMANG.
  • Participants should use A4 size paper to draw.
  • Any drawing, landscape, portrait, print or a composition using pencil, painting by using any medium is allowed.
  • All submissions must be original hand-drawn artwork.
  • If judges find that these rules are not followed then they have all rights to reject the entry and it will not be considered as valid participation.
  • Participants must convert the artwork once completed into JPEG format and upload it on event / contest portal https://eventglint.com/umang/.
  • JPEG Image should not exceed 1.5 MB in size while uploading otherwise system will not accept it. Following 3 criteria will be considered while judging:
  • Entry must be based on theme HOPE/UMANG.
  • Paper size A4 (Any paper)
  • Must convert file into JPEG while uploading

SINGING

  • Any old or new Hindi/English film/light/classical music songs are accepted
  • Duration 180 Sec (3 minutes) maximum
  • Participants must make a video while singing the song
  • Participants must upload it on Youtube and share link on registration portal https://eventglint.com/umang/.
  • For singing, we want to provide equal opportunity to everyone so participants should not use any Karaoke/Star-Maker/Mic or Voice modulation software or Eco/Verb/Volume modulation or any form of effects etc. However participants can use simple Headphone/Mic for good voice.
  • Various instrumental music (Guitar, Tabla, harmonium, Tambura etc.) as well as any tanpura or equivalent apps for Background Music/Scale is accepted.
  • Participants are also allowed to sing without background Music/Scale.
  • If judges find that these rules are not followed then they have all rights to reject the entry and it will not be considered as valid participation.

Following 9 criteria will be considered while judging:

  1. Entry must be based on theme HOPE/UMANG.
  2. Emotion in singing
  3. Diction / Pronunciation of Poetry
  4. Accuracy of Sur/Notes
  5. Rhythmic/Taal understanding
  6. Volume modulation
  7. Tonal quality of voice
  8. Steadiness of ending notes
  9. Use of Vibrato where require

PHOTOGRAPHY

  • Entry must be based on theme HOPE/UMANG.
  • Any landscape, portrait or nature photograph is allowed to submit.
  • Participants need to upload JPEG version of their photograph on portal.
  • File size should not exceed 2000 Pixel width, 1.5 Mb max and 72 DPI.
  • Participants need to upload JPEG version of their photograph on registration portal https://eventglint.com/umang/.
  • If judges find that these rules are not followed then they have all rights to reject the entry and it will not be considered as valid participation.

Following 2 criteria will be considered while judging:

  1. Entry must be based on theme HOPE/UMANG.
  2. Must convert file into JPEG while uploading, should not exceed 2000 Pixel width, 1.5 Mb max and 72 DPI.

DANCE / GROUP DANCE

  • Dance or Group Dance on any old or new Hindi/English, film/light/classical are accepted.
  • Entry must be based on theme UMANG.
  • Entry must be any solo / group dance performance on any music/language.
  • Duration 180 Sec (3 minutes) maximum
  • Participants must make a video while performing and upload it on Youtube and share link on registration portal https://eventglint.com/umang/.
  • If judges find that these rules are not followed then they have all rights to reject the entry and it will not be considered as valid participation.
  • In case if the group is winner a single common trophy/prize will be presented to group. However certificate of participation will be sent to all group members.

ACTING

  • Entry must be based on theme HOPE/UMANG.
  • Acting performed on any old or new Hindi/English Film/Drams is accepted.
  • Any solo act/performance is allowed.
  • Duration 180 Sec (3 minutes) maximum.
  • Participants must make a video while performing and upload it on Youtube and share link on registration portal https://eventglint.com/umang/.
  • If judges find that these rules are not followed then they have all rights to reject the entry and it will not be considered as valid participation.

FAQ

Who can participate?

- People of all age groups can participate in these series of contest.
- Age group for all categories would be - Upto 14 Years, 15-25 Years, 26-49 Years, 50+ Years whereas for photography it would be 18+ years only.


How will the winner be contacted?

The winners will be notified by email using the email address that you provided at the time of registration. For minor/children’s their parents or guardians can register for them. In case of incorrect email address, we will not be able to contact you and thus the participant will not know that they have won the prize.

RULES, TERM & CONDITIONS

  • The contest is online and anyone with artistic flair is welcome to participate
  • Registration & submission of entries for minors to be done by a guardian whose legal age is above 18 Years
  • The contest will go live on 25th June, 2021
  • Due to strict lockdown in Australia we have receive requests from judges to extend the time by 15 Days
  • We must receive your entries before 11:30 AM on 12th September, 2021
  • We will be declaring winners on 15th September, 2021 via a valid email which you used at the time of registering event/contest
  • Participants need to register themselves on https://www.eventglint.com/e/umang-global-2021
  • Upon registration participants will get a link of contest page upload form, participants need to upload their files by entering required details
  • Under each categories there will be 3 prizes i.e. Winner, first runner-up and 2nd second runner-up, However we will be providing
    certification of participation to everyone who is registering themselves for this event / contest
  • A participant, by participating in this contest, hereby represents and warrants that all the submissions are their original works and no copyright and/or trademark and/or other intellectual property rights have been violated by such submission
  • Each participant is permitted to submit only one entry in each category
  • For Drawing and Photography entries needs to be submitted in JPEG format only
  • For Dancing, Singing and Acting entries needs to be submitted in MP3 / MP4 format only
  • Size of the file cannot exceed 1.5 Mega Bytes (MB)
  • Any entry including or depicting anything which is foul, indecent, threatening, discriminatory, vulgar, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, objectionable, inappropriate or against public policy or public morality, shall lead to disqualification of the participant at sole discretion of UmangGlobal.in EventGlint.com and LeadGlint.com
  • Any Drawing, Painting, Act, Dance, Photograph, Sketching, Doodling, Paper craft, Glass craft and Metal craft must not include words, national flags, or slogans
  • Any Drawing, Painting, Act, Dance, Photograph, Sketching, Doodling, Paper craft, Glass craft and Metal craft must not represent any particular individual, organization, religion or brand name and must not depict any religious theme
  • Every entry by default will have a contest watermark on their artwork / media
  • The winners then will be decided by a panel of judges for each category. The winners will be chosen considering most interesting, innovative, creative, and original art around our themes for each category
  • The Top 3 winners from each age group and each category will be awarded basis on the judge’s decision. A winner Certificate and a Medal/Trophy will be sent to Top 3 winners after the covid/lockdown situation gets normalized, across the globe
  • Umang Global special prize i.e. "UMANG Star Award Certificate Category" will be announced to some winners whose performances are good and liked by judges but could not qualify as Top 3 winners due to some reasons/contest rules. For this category of winners, only "Award Certificates" will be sent to their registered email ID’s.
    Organizing team also decided to send "Certificate of Participation" to all participants who are going to participate in the online event / contest
  • Winner will be strictly selected based on UMANG themes and rules, The decision of Judges/Jury Panel will be considered final
  • Prizes to winners will be distributed once the postal service will start globally
  • Participants can register under multiple categories but only one entry allowed per category
  • UmangGlobal.in/EventGlint.com/LeadGlint.com/ Impeccable Softwares Private Limited reserves the right to disqualify any partner/s or the winner from the benefits of the contest if any fraudulent activity is identified as being carried out for the purpose of availing the prize under the contest or otherwise by participating in the contest
  • By submitting an entry, each entrant agrees to the contest rules and warrants that his/her entry complies with all requirements set out in the rules
  • This is a skill-based contest and chance plays no part in the determination of winners

  • This is an online event and we have No Return and No Refund Policy however you can transfer your registration/participation to another person who wants to take for in the similar category by taking advance approval from organizing team.
  • Once the event / contest is done i.e. after selection of winners and prize distribution, we will be removing event / contest related text from the old event. Only the basic information related to event / contest and winners name will be there on UmangGlobal.in website.
